Threads experienced a significant decline in the number of users shortly after its official introduction by Meta. While such a trend is not uncommon, only a few users have actually returned after the major exodus. On the contrary, more individuals have opted to discontinue using the app due to its lack of fundamental features that have long been available in competing platforms. Nonetheless, Threads continues to undergo continuous improvement, with the addition of new features almost on a weekly basis. Therefore, if you are among the users who still utilize the app, rest assured that you can expect something new to enhance your experience every few days. Although certain features may initially appear insignificant, many of them are crucial for the smooth functioning of a social app or for delivering a comprehensive user experience. Recently, Threads introduced an exciting new feature that enables users to switch between multiple profiles. The mobile version of the app has officially confirmed the availability of this feature through its dedicated Threads account. To switch between different profiles in Threads, simply tap the profile tab to reveal a menu displaying a list of your profiles. From there, you can easily select the desired Instagram account that you have logged in to switch to. Additionally, you have the option to add a new profile or log in to Threads by tapping "Add profile." As with any other social app, Threads securely stores your account credentials, enabling you to seamlessly switch between profiles whenever desired. Following the launch of the web version of Threads two weeks ago, the app is now expected to introduce a highly significant feature that certain platforms, like X (formerly Twitter), have made exclusive behind a paywall: the ability to edit posts. While a specific timeline for the implementation of this feature has not been provided yet, its availability would likely entice users to consider returning to Threads.
